What is Depression !

We all sometimes feel depressed in our lives then we think that how to deal with Depression in our life. We all have some different reasons for feeling low or down. Depression may be described as feeling sad, unhappy, or down. Depression affects a person’s way of thinking, behaviour, feelings and physical well-being. Depression makes us feel sad, anxious, hopeless, helpless, worthless, guilty, irritable, or restless. We may lose interest in activities that once were pleasurable.
There are many reasons why we feel depressed. These may include: reactions to life events and stresses, and genetic or biological factors.

When people are severely depressed, they start to feel negative about life. This makes situation worse as negativity may force some to do something wrong  with them.

People who have depression usually see everything with a more negative attitude, unable to imagine that how to deal with Depression in any problem or situation and you can be solved any problem in a positive way.

Following are the symptoms of depression:

  • Extreme emotional disturbances, restlessness, and irritability.
  • Weight changes.
  • Lost concentration.
  • Feelings of hopelessness and helplessness.
  • Feelings of worthlessness, and guilt.
  • Loss of interest or pleasure in activities that were once enjoyed.
  • Feeling like killing self or doing suicide.
  • Sleeplessness or excessive sleeping.
